Virtuaalilentäjät - Virtual Pilots

The main reason for not being very active in the virtual skies the last couple of years is my renewed interest in music making. With kids, house, work, lack of decent computer and general busyness of life there haven't really been time enough for both passions. One project I am working with is Sonic Reunion which consists of an old friend from school, who is producing the songs, and me, making the vocals. One note: On the Sonic Reunion avatar and identical album art for "Vibes in the air" and "Don't understand" there IS a deliberate tribute to Lentolaivue 34.

Well. Both me and my friend who have written the music listened to Depeche Mode back in the 80:s and 90:s. Of course they are a big source of inspiration. I would lie if i said anything else.

Not actually music I usually listen, but sounds great! Actually I´ve been also recording some of my old favorite songs (some 70´s british style rhythm´n blues) for my own fun in my "home studio" in the spirit of The Pirates and Dr. Feelgood, but I think you don´t want to hear them.....

Actually I played drums, bass & guitars all by myself.... And it sure sounds just like it... Homemade.

That's great! I remember my first "recordings" back in the eighties. I had my synthesizer and two cassette recorders. All was played free hand (no sequencer program), no effects at all. It's all hiss and blur but it sure was fun! You play anything at all today?

Yeah, I still play, but had about 10 years break when I didn´t play anything. Now I´ve playing again few years. I mailed you some tracks, but not sure if it worked, I can´t get this private message thing working in this forum.
