Allright!
For the first time in about 4 years my own stationary computer have been airborne! Have now installed IL2 1946 with all available updates. My track IR, CH throttle Pro and trusty old MS FFB2 joystick are running just fine on my "new" rig. For the first time in my life I can fly IL2 with excellent graphics settings, and-WOW!- it's looking good indeed!
I have a little qutestion about the 6DOF implementation in the game. I don't seem to be able to "move around" much in the cockpit even though I have cranked up the sensivity in the settings pretty much. I can tilt my head, but not move back and forth and to the sides. The only "quite annoying" sign that something have moved a bit is that the gunsight ring gets out of focus. In AH2 you can move along in the cockpit quite heavily, popping head up to see better over the cowling and also looking under the bars of the cockpit. Am I doing something wrong or is the 6DOF in IL2 still just crappy?
